citybuoy finds it interesting that author introductions are always written in the third person. He wonders if authors feel awkward when their bios include their most famous books and notable awards. I mean, who lays it all out like that?

He thinks it may be more interesting if authors wrote their own bios and they put things that startle them (cockroaches) or things that excite them (freshly cooked tortang talong). Perhaps they can include where they write best (my room, cafes for the wifi, parks for the people) or what drives them to write in the first place (random stuff, old journal entries, cockroaches on freshly cooked tortang talong)
